Bruise and Rouge

It's 2am at the call,
I count a pitcher or three I don't know.
What's he kiss like?
And does it hold you?
And hugging friends through it all,
a bit of laughter on that face.
Motion me a lens and a doll,
I count a picture to three, it might don't show.
Bruise and rouge, what he put you through.
It don't matter if it's inside.
Oh my proof is you, and the way you move.
It's not pattern, but a sin, right?
Downright domain, locked all in a statue pose.
Call my friend, stay home.
And when the coupe pass by it's time to legislate.
Bruise and rouge, what he put you through.
It don't matter if it's inside.
Oh my proof is you, and the way you move.
It's not pattern, but a sin, right?

As I walk this land of broken dreams
I have visions of many things.
But happiness is just an illusion
filled with sadness and confusion.
What becomes of the brokenhearted?
Who has love that's now departed?
I know I've got to find some kind of peace of mind.
Help me, please.
The roots of love grow all around,
but for me they come tumbling down.
Everyday heartaches grow a little stronger.
I can't stand this pain much longer.
I walk in shadow searching for light.
Cold and alone, no comfort in sight.
Hoping and praying for someone who cares.
Always moving, going nowhere.
What becomes of the brokenhearted?
Who has love that's now departed?
I know I've got to find some kind of peace of mind.
Help me, please.
